2026 - Aberdeen City - Integrated Children with Disabilities Services
The contract covers an integrated specialist support service for disabled children and young people from birth to 18 years in Aberdeen, whose complex or significant care and support needs require provision beyond universal, community-based or mainstream services. Aberdeen City Council, the local authority responsible for public services in Aberdeen, requires support for children and young people with complex health, physical, learning, developmental, sensory, communication or behavioural needs, including needs associated with autism. The service is expected to provide individually assessed support, with eligibility and delivery determined by assessed needs, intended outcomes, and the provider’s ability to meet those needs safely and appropriately; short-break overnight provision and residential care will mainly serve older children, often teenagers. The estimated contract value is £11,475,000, although the contract duration is not stated in the available information. Delivery is expected in Aberdeen City within the UKM50 region. The key qualification requirement is the ability to deliver safe and appropriate specialist care and support matched to individually assessed needs.
