Boiler & Mechanical Specialist Remedials, Minor Works and New Installations
The contract covers planned minor works, condition-led remedial works, lifecycle replacements, upgrades and new installations involving boilers, commercial gas systems and associated mechanical services for Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust, one of England’s largest community healthcare providers. The Trust requires competent specialist contractors to deliver non-reactive works arising from inspections, statutory examinations, compliance and water-safety reviews, energy assessments, lifecycle evaluations, service changes, risk reviews and assurance concerns; reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance are generally handled separately by the Trust’s Hard FM contractor. The estimated activity-based contract value is £250,000, although work volumes and expenditure are not guaranteed, and the contract duration is not stated. Delivery is across the Trust estate in the South East, serving sites in Kent, East Sussex and parts of London, including community clinics, hospitals, schools and other healthcare settings. The critical qualification is that bidders must be competent specialist mechanical, commercial gas, boiler and mechanical contractors capable of undertaking the specified works.
