Building Information Standards Dynamic Purchasing System
NHS England, the national health service organisation responsible for leading and supporting England’s NHS, is procuring services through a Dynamic Purchasing System for building and maintaining information standards. The scope covers minor or ongoing maintenance of existing standards, major revisions to existing standards, and development of new standards submitted for assurance and appraisal before consideration by the Data Alliance Partnership Board. Suppliers will be expected to provide standards-related expertise and assurance support through the Information Representation Service’s Data Standards Assurance team, supporting the publication of reliable information standards for NHS use. The estimated total value is up to £9 million, with the DPS operating until 31 December 2027 and applications remaining open until 31 October 2027. Delivery may be required across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, including the listed English regions. The critical qualification requirement is the ability to deliver information-standards assurance, appraisal, maintenance, revision or creation services within the NHS standards governance framework.
