Dartford Science and Technology College ~ Catering Tender
The contract covers the provision of all catering services at Dartford Science and Technology College, a local authority maintained 11–18 school in Dartford, including morning break, lunch, hospitality and free-issue catering for approximately 860 students and 101 teaching and support staff. The successful contractor will operate within the school’s existing facilities, review the current service, recommend improvements and introduce innovative food concepts that meet a broad range of pupil tastes and dietary requirements. Free school meals and hospitality will be charged according to consumption at net food cost, while the contractor must provide a guaranteed annual return or cost under a Guaranteed Performance Contract; the school will retain control of cash tariffs. The contract runs for three years, from 1 August 2027 to 31 July 2030, across the school site in Dartford, Kent (UKJ4). The tender project is seeking to appoint a Contractor whose initiative and innovation will be welcomed for the provision of service within the existing facilities for the 860 students on roll and 101 teaching and support staff, with a focus on exciting new food concepts to satisfy a wide range of pupil tastes and dietary requirements. The School would wish the successful contractor to review the current range of services offered and make recommendations accordingly. The contract being tendered is for three years in duration from 1/8/2027 to 31/7/2030 and will operate as a Guaranteed Performance Contract, with the successful Contractor offering the School a guaranteed return / cost per annum for the provision of catering services.
