Delivery, Management and Maintenance of Public & Private EV Infrastructure
The contract covers a single-supplier, end-to-end electric vehicle charging infrastructure solution for the property portfolios of Places for People Group Limited and Anchor, organisations operating in the housing and property sector. The supplier will provide approximately 20,000 charge points across new-build, retrofit and residential sites, including site assessment, design, hardware supply, installation, retrofit works, commissioning, software and back-office management, payment systems, customer support, monitoring, testing, servicing, maintenance and adoption or replacement of existing charge points. The programme also requires mobilisation, stakeholder engagement, project management, reporting and ongoing asset-performance management, with work instructed site by site under a Schedule of Rates and no guaranteed minimum volume or allocation. The estimated contract value is £39.2 million over an initial 10-year term, with an option to extend by five years, and delivery will take place across the UK. The critical qualification requirement is that bidders must submit one tender covering both Lots, with the same supplier appointed to both and separate contracts held by Places for People and Anchor.
