Environmental Enforcement Agency
The contract covers an Environmental Enforcement Agency service for the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham Council, a local government organisation seeking support for its Law Enforcement Team. The provider will deploy trained, uniformed enforcement officers across highways, parks and open spaces to target littering, highway obstructions and Responsible Dog Public Space Protection Order offences. Key duties include issuing Fixed Penalty Notices, engaging with the public, managing initial complaints and preparing prosecution case files where required, with priorities set by the Council. The estimated contract value is £2,653,000, for an initial two-year term with an option to extend by up to a further two years, and delivery will take place throughout the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham in London, United Kingdom. The proposed commercial model requires the provider to meet operational delivery costs and share income from paid Fixed Penalty Notices with the Council. The critical qualification is that bidders must be suitably qualified and experienced environmental enforcement providers able to supply trained, uniformed officers.
