Environmental Services Contract
Bracknell Forest Borough Council is procuring environmental services covering boroughwide waste and recycling collection, street and public-realm cleansing, grounds maintenance, tree management, and enhanced cleansing of Bracknell town centre. The buyer is a local authority responsible for statutory waste, environmental protection, highway safety, land management, and related public services. The supplier will be expected to deliver reliable waste and recycling operations that support landfill reduction and recycling targets, maintain clean and safe highways and public spaces, manage council-owned trees and associated risks, support biodiversity and climate objectives, and provide a higher-frequency, higher-standard cleaning service in the busy town centre. The initial contract is expected to run for eight years from 1 October 2028 to 2036, with an option to extend for up to a further eight years to 2044; no estimated value or delivery regions are specified, although the core services cover the borough and Bracknell town centre. The critical qualification requirement is not stated in the available tender information, so bidders must rely on the procurement documents for mandatory eligibility and certification requirements.
