Expression of Interest (EOI) for Grant Funding to facilitate the Operation of Visitor Centres and Provision of Support to Children and Families in Prison Visitor Centres
The Irish Prison Service, the national body responsible for managing Ireland’s prison system, is seeking expressions of interest for grant funding to support the operation of prison visitor centres and provide services to children and families visiting people in custody. The funded provider will be expected to manage or facilitate visitor-centre operations and deliver practical, welfare, family-support and related services that help children and families before, during or around prison visits. The estimated total funding is £1,500,000, although the available tender information does not state the grant duration or performance timeframe. Services will be delivered across Ireland (IE), at relevant prison visitor-centre locations. The single most critical qualification requirement is not specified in the available description; bidders will need to demonstrate the capability and experience required to operate visitor-centre services and support children and families in a prison environment.
