Fire Safety Building Compliance Services Framework
The contract establishes a Fire Safety Building Compliance Services Framework for the Forestry Commission, the public body responsible for managing England’s publicly owned forests and associated estate. The appointed supplier will provide professional fire safety advice across the Commission’s built estate, including fire risk assessments and audits, general advice, and support with fire safety policies and procedures. Services must consider adjoining areas and land uses where relevant to risk assessments, but the framework excludes the wider public forest estate and wildfire services. The estimated total value is £275,000, with the framework duration not stated in the available information, and delivery is required across the Forestry Commission estate in the United Kingdom. The critical qualification requirement is that the supplier must be qualified and competent to deliver these services and demonstrate familiarity with, and compliance with, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Fire Safety Act 2021, Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022, Building Safety Act 2022, and requirements of local fire and rescue authorities.
