Fixed Asset Management System
The contract covers the provision and implementation of a replacement Fixed Asset Management System for the Education Authority (EA), a public-sector organisation responsible for education services in Northern Ireland. The supplier will conduct discovery and requirements-validation workshops, review existing processes, produce a solution design and configuration requirements, plan and execute data migration and cutover, identify functionality gaps, and provide best-practice recommendations. The scope also includes management information, reporting, security compliance, user provisioning, administrator and user training, a named service manager, and communications and escalation arrangements. The system must receive at least three months of post-implementation hypercare, including incident resolution, defect correction, integration monitoring and knowledge transfer, followed by SaaS support covering maintenance, security, backup, disaster recovery and availability. The contract will run for four years with an optional further 24-month extension; value and delivery locations are not specified. Bidders must provide a compliant Social Value Delivery Plan under Northern Ireland Executive procurement policy PPN 01/21 and demonstrate how its initiatives will be integrated into contract delivery.
