Homelessness and Social Inclusion Services 2027 - 2030
Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, a local government authority, is procuring housing-related support services for vulnerable homeless people who are rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping. The contract comprises two lots: 24/7 emergency-access homelessness accommodation and support at May Place House, and targeted rough-sleeping outreach and homelessness prevention. Suppliers will be expected to provide continuous accommodation-based support, alongside outreach and preventative interventions, with both services contributing to sustained engagement, housing stability and reduced rough sleeping. The stated total estimated value is £2,743,518 excluding VAT, comprising £1,000,260.66 for Lot 1’s initial three-year-and-one-month term and £608,000 for Lot 2’s initial three-year term; both initial contracts end on 31 March 2030, with two annual extensions available, potentially extending Lot 1 to five years and one month and Lot 2 to five years. Delivery is in Basingstoke and Deane, within the UKJ3 region of the United Kingdom. The critical qualification requirement is the demonstrated capability to deliver specialist housing-related support for people experiencing or at risk of rough sleeping, including 24/7 emergency accommodation support or targeted outreach and prevention services, as applicable to the lot.
