London’s Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) MyEnds 3.0 Programme
The contract covers delivery of London’s Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) MyEnds 3.0 programme, a hyper-local community violence-reduction service commissioned by the Mayors Office For Policing And Crime, the public-sector body responsible for policing and crime prevention in London. Providers will work across eligible boroughs to strengthen local partnerships, involve young people and communities, build the capacity of grassroots organisations, and deliver interventions informed by local needs in neighbourhoods experiencing high and sustained levels of violence. The programme is scheduled to run from April 2027 to March 2029, with an estimated total value of £11.2 million. Delivery will take place in eligible London boroughs including Lambeth, Croydon, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Newham, Enfield, Haringey, Hackney, Lewisham, Islington, Camden, Brent, Hillingdon, Greenwich, Wandsworth, and Barking and Dagenham. The critical qualification requirement is that a provider must be able to deliver the VRU-endorsed community empowerment and locally informed violence-reduction model across the eligible boroughs.

From the official notice
MyEnds 3.0 is an evolved version of the flagship VRU MyEnds programme which will run from April 2027 until March 2029. This new iteration will allow us to implement key learning from the MyEnds programmes and strengthen the key components of the overall programme design, optimising innovation with more targeted strategic alignment. The MyEnds programme utilises a hyper-local approach to address needs in neighbourhoods across the capital that are most affected by high and sustained levels of violence. The core model endorsed by the VRU for this programme is based on the empowerment of communities, recognising the critical role and collective impact community stakeholders have in local violence reduction initiatives. This is achieved through the delivery of key activity strands, including strengthening local partnerships, young people and community participation, capacity building of the grassroots sector, and the delivery of locally informed interventions.
