Plymouth Adults' Care Home Framework (Reopening 2)
Plymouth City Council, the local authority responsible for public services in Plymouth, is reopening its Adults’ Care Home Framework to appoint registered residential and nursing care homes with a PL postcode. Providers will deliver accommodation and personalised care for adults needing support because of age, disability, health conditions, complex medical needs, cognitive impairment, mental health needs, bariatric requirements or behaviours that challenge. The scope ranges from assistance with daily living, meals and communal activities to intensive residential support and continuous nursing oversight, with expectations for safe, dignified, high-quality care that promotes individual wellbeing and quality of life; an innovation lot is also available. The framework has an initial five-year term with available extensions of three years plus two years, although no estimated value is stated. Delivery is within care homes located in the PL postcode area, and the most critical eligibility requirement is that bidders operate a registered residential or nursing care home with a PL postcode.
