Prioritised Capital Improvements Programme - School Properties 2026-28
Cumberland Council, the local authority responsible for public services in Cumberland, is seeking two professional services providers to support its Prioritised Capital Improvements Programme for school properties in financial year 2027/28. The contract covers architectural, building surveying, mechanical and electrical engineering, structural engineering and quantity surveying services required to scope, design and facilitate delivery of prioritised school capital improvement projects. Consultants will manage allocated programmes of works, with projects balanced where possible by number and estimated construction value, and will need to account for construction primarily during school holiday periods while exploring work in live school environments where agreed with individual schools. The maximum estimated value is £1,500,000 including any extension period, with no guarantee of the actual spend, and the contract is expected to run for approximately 27 months from 4 January 2027. Delivery will take place across school properties in the UKD1 region of the United Kingdom. The critical requirement is the capability to provide the full range of specified multidisciplinary professional services.
