Provision of Victim Support Services
The contract covers victim support services commissioned by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire, the local policing and community-safety authority, across four lots: multi-crime victim support, sexual violence support, child exploitation support, and slavery and exploitation support. Providers will support victims and survivors, and relevant family members or friends, to cope and recover from crime, access appropriate specialist assistance, and exercise their rights under the Victims’ Code. Services must provide equitable and inclusive access across Warwickshire, manage demand, capacity and risk, collaborate with statutory, criminal justice, health, safeguarding and voluntary-sector partners, and maintain robust safeguarding arrangements supported by skilled, trained and resilient staff. Contracts will run for an initial three years from 1 April 2027, with an option to extend by up to two further years subject to funding availability; estimated value is not specified. The critical qualification is relevant experience and expertise for each lot tendered, together with the ability to provide appropriately trained staff and safe, specialist support for vulnerable victims.
