Supply of Advanced Chromatography and Molecular Characterisation Platform
Aberystwyth University is procuring an advanced chromatography and molecular characterisation platform for the Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences (IBERS), a university-based research, innovation and teaching centre operating across industrial biotechnology, biorefining, precision fermentation, biomaterials, agricultural biotechnology and sustainable manufacturing. The supplier is expected to provide analytical equipment and associated platform capability that generates high-quality molecular and chromatography data and integrates with the University’s existing Getinge Livit Flex parallel bioreactor infrastructure and digital bioprocess development workflows. The platform will support research, contract research and industrial scale-up activities, complementing the University’s recent investment in advanced bioprocess systems. No estimated contract value, contract duration or delivery location is specified; delivery is therefore understood to be for the relevant IBERS facilities at Aberystwyth University, subject to the tender documents. The critical qualification requirement is the ability to supply a platform compatible with and integrable into the University’s digital bioprocess workflows and existing bioreactor capability.
