Supply of DSP 27 Battery Carrier Spare Parts
The contract covers the supply of 100 spare battery carriers for the Detector Special Purpose (DSP) 27 hand-carried detection unit, identified by NSN 6160-99-667-2326, to prevent a capability gap for the Ministry of Defence. Unite Procurement UK Limited, part of Unite Holding SE, is procuring the parts on behalf of the UK Ministry of Defence and operates as a public-sector procurement organisation supporting low-value, high-volume purchasing. The supplier must provide the specified spare part, with each item subject to a short inspection on delivery to confirm it is the correct component; acceptance follows successful inspection, with a one-off payment made on delivery and no ongoing contract management. The estimated value is £100,000, with immediate purchase as the only expected output rather than a stated multi-year term. Delivery is required across the United Kingdom, including England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The critical requirement is that the battery carrier supplied must be NSN 6160-99-667-2326, with the OEM owning the intellectual property and technical data pack.
