T26-128HCO Delivery of an Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) Programme for Young People in the Faughan and Sperrin District Electoral Areas (DEAs)
Derry City and Strabane District Council, a local government authority in Northern Ireland, is seeking an organisation to design and deliver a youth-focused Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) programme in the Faughan and Sperrin District Electoral Areas. The programme must support The Executive Office’s EVAWG Strategic Framework and build on activity delivered in the two areas over the previous two years. The appointed provider will co-design and deliver tailored, place-based programmes reflecting the needs of each rural area, working closely with the Faughan and Sperrin Rural Partnership Boards and other relevant stakeholders, while ensuring active involvement from the Local Growth Partnership Boards throughout development and delivery. Delivery will take place in the Faughan and Sperrin rural areas within the UKN0A region. The stated estimated value is £1, although this figure may represent a placeholder rather than the likely programme cost, and the contract duration is not specified. The critical qualification requirement is that bidders must be suitably qualified organisations able to deliver the required youth-focused EVAWG programme and collaborative rural partnership work.
