TD2340 - Framework for Highways Services
Derby City Council, a local government authority responsible for public services and the highway network, is seeking suppliers for a multi-supplier framework covering highway maintenance, improvement, construction, specialist services, materials supply, plant hire and related activities. The 11 lots include road markings and high-friction surfacing, restraint systems, temporary traffic management, traffic signals, multidisciplinary works, carriageway and footway treatments, equipment hire, haulage, asphalt supply and highways resource support. Call-off requirements may range from small reactive works to planned maintenance and capital improvement schemes across Derby and the wider East Midlands, including the DE1 2FS area. The framework has an estimated core value of £72 million over its full term, potentially increasing to £108 million because of Local Government Reorganisation, although no minimum spend or volume is guaranteed. The critical qualification requirement is not stated in the available tender information; bidders must therefore meet the lot-specific requirements set out in the procurement documents.
