Temporary Accommodation and Support Services Single Men, Single People and People Experiencing Severe Multiple Disadvantages
Sheffield City Council is procuring temporary accommodation and housing-related support services for single men, single people and people experiencing severe multiple disadvantages who are homeless, rough sleeping, at risk of homelessness or at risk of repeat homelessness. The three lots cover supported housing for men, safe dispersed single-occupancy accommodation for people whose needs are not met by existing provision, and accommodation with flexible support for people with repeated homelessness and high housing-related support needs. Suppliers will be expected to provide trauma-informed, strengths-based and inclusive support that stabilises tenancies, promotes independence, connects residents with wider services and enables successful move-on to settled housing, contributing to Sheffield’s wider homelessness pathway and reduced reliance on large hostels. The estimated contract value is £8,531,183, with the contract duration not stated in the available information, and delivery will take place across Sheffield, within the United Kingdom region UKE32. The critical qualification requirement is the ability to provide safe, suitable supported accommodation together with housing-related support for the specified vulnerable groups.
