Tender for Childrens Rights and Advocacy Services and Independent Visitors Service
Herefordshire Council, a local government authority, is procuring Children's Rights and Advocacy Services and an Independent Visitor Service for vulnerable children and young people supported by its social care services. The advocacy service must help children and young people understand and exercise their rights and ensure that their views, wishes and feelings are heard and represented, while the Independent Visitor Service must provide children in care with a consistent, independent and trusted adult relationship that promotes wellbeing, resilience and positive outcomes. The services are statutory functions and will be procured as two separate lots, with providers able to bid for either lot or both. Delivery will support children and young people placed within or outside Herefordshire, in the UKG11 region and elsewhere in the United Kingdom as required. The contract value and duration have not been specified. The critical qualification requirement is the ability to deliver these statutory services for vulnerable children and young people open to Herefordshire’s social care services.
