Total Orthopaedic Solutions 4
The contract covers products and services used in orthopaedic, trauma and spine procedures, including medical devices, orthopaedic power tools, equipment management services and other orthopaedic-specific services. The buyer is Supply Chain Coordination Limited, a UK procurement organisation working in healthcare supply chains. The supplier is expected to provide the full supply chain for the relevant product and service segments, including sales, manufacturing, storage and distribution, and to meet applicable CE certification and Declaration of Conformity requirements where relevant. The estimated contract value is £3 billion, and the description indicates a future procurement framework rather than a fixed delivery period. Work will be delivered across the UK. The most critical eligibility requirement is ISO certification to ISO 9001:2015, BS EN ISO 13485:2016, or MDAP accreditation by UKAS, or an international equivalent covering all parts of the tenderer’s and product supply chain.
