Traffic Management Services Framework 2027 - 28 (- 29 - 30 - 31)
Argyll and Bute Council, a local authority responsible for roads and infrastructure services, is establishing a Traffic Management Services Framework for temporary traffic management on rural and urban roads. Contractors will be required to install, maintain and remove temporary traffic management in accordance with Chapter 8 standards for the safe execution of programmed construction works. Roads and amenities staff will use the framework to commission services through separate call-off contracts when required, avoiding an individual procurement process for each requirement; however, the framework does not guarantee any work volume. The framework is intended to cover 2027–28, with possible extensions or subsequent years through 2031, although no estimated contract value is specified. Delivery will take place across the UKM63 region, covering Argyll and Bute. The critical qualification requirement is that contractors must demonstrate compliance with Chapter 8 requirements for temporary traffic management and be accepted as qualified participants in the framework.
