Tree Risk Surveys and Management Plans
South Holland District Council and Boston Borough Council are procuring arboricultural services to survey trees on council-owned land, assess risk, and produce tree risk management information across their respective areas. The supplier must zone all sites, create a complete tree inventory using current industry and Forest Research data standards, actively assess trees in areas of high public or site-user interaction, and train council parks and gardens staff to carry out passive assessments through a half-day field session. The estimated contract value is £200,000, although the tender details do not state the contract duration or delivery timeframe. Delivery is required across council sites in South Holland and Boston, within the listed UK regions spanning the East Midlands, East of England, West Midlands, London, South East, South West, North West and North East areas. The critical qualification requirement is that the work must be undertaken by an arborist or suitably qualified tree inspector with the expertise to perform compliant tree risk surveys and assessments.
