Gambling Behaviour Change Campaign
Leicestershire County Council is commissioning an experienced provider to research, co-produce, develop and design a behaviour change campaign that increases awareness of, and reduces, gambling-related harms across Leicestershire. The Council is a local authority responsible for public services, and this requirement supports its public health work on harms affecting individuals, families and communities, including mental and physical health, finances, relationships, employment and housing stability. The provider must consolidate existing local evidence, conduct research with target audiences and people with lived experience, and produce an evidence-based campaign strategy, creative concept and campaign assets, while identifying potential delivery channels and methods; campaign implementation is excluded. The work must address stigma through stigma-free language and a trauma-informed approach, be undertaken with the Council’s corporate Communications team, and assign all developed intellectual property to the Council. No contract value, duration or delivery regions are specified. The critical qualification is proven expertise in marketing and behaviour change, including the ability to apply evidence-based approaches and co-production methods.
