Grass Cutting Contract
The contract covers rural grass-cutting services for Kemble and Ewen Parish Council, a local government organisation responsible for parish services in Gloucestershire. The supplier will maintain roadside verges in Kemble and Ewen, West Hay Green, the churchyard, cemetery and Windmill Park playing field and playground, together with the route from Pear Tree Cottage to Parkers Bridge and the Windmill Park permissive paths. Mowed areas must be cut 14 times each year, approximately fortnightly during the growing season from March to October, while the drainage ditch on the north side of the A429 near the traffic lights must be cut once annually late in the year. The estimated contract value is £30,000 for a three-year term running from March 2027 until the end of October 2029. Delivery is required across the specified parish sites in Kemble and Ewen, within the listed UK regions. The critical performance requirement is the ability to provide the specified 14 seasonal cuts annually and the additional annual drainage-ditch cut.
