Specialist Advisory Support for the North Wales Marine & Fisheries Network
The contract covers specialist advisory support for Menter Môn Cyf’s North Wales Marine & Fisheries Network, established with Welsh Marine and Fisheries Scheme funding to strengthen collaboration, knowledge sharing, skills development and resilience across the marine and fisheries sector. Menter Môn is a Welsh organisation supporting regional economic and community development, and the appointed supplier will support activities including networking, sector-specific masterclasses, study visits, case studies, an online knowledge hub and a Steering Group providing strategic direction. The Network will engage fisheries and aquaculture businesses, seafood processors, marine tourism operators, coastal communities, women, young people, new entrants and local supply-chain businesses. The estimated contract value is £14,000, with the project running until 31 March 2027. Delivery will cover the Isle of Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy and Denbighshire in North Wales. The critical requirement is that bidders must be suitably qualified consultants, organisations or partnerships with specialist expertise relevant to supporting the Network.
