WIRELESS CONFERENCE AND HYBRID MEETING SYSTEM
The contract covers the supply, installation, commissioning and ongoing support of a wireless conference and hybrid meeting system for Ryde Town Council’s Council Chamber. Ryde Town Council is a local government organisation, and the system must support meetings involving up to 18 participants, with shared microphones acceptable if cost-effective. Key deliverables include simple, intuitive operation without specialist technical knowledge, rapid setup without continual adjustment, wireless audio casting to a public loudspeaker, and compatibility with live streaming and hybrid participation through YouTube, Zoom and Microsoft Teams. The system must also work with the Council’s existing IT equipment, support future expansion with additional units, and be compatible with hearing loops; delivery is at the Council Chamber, with no wider delivery region specified. The estimated contract value and duration are not provided. The critical qualification is that the proposed system must be compatible with the Council’s existing IT equipment and operational requirements, including non-laptop-based microphones for councillors.
